Internal Regulations of Château de Montramé for Weekly or Monthly Rentals
Article 1 – Purpose and Application
These internal regulations set out the conditions of living, hygiene, safety, peace, and use of the establishment’s facilities.
They apply to all residents, visitors, and service providers within the château. Any person staying at the establishment is deemed to have read and accepted these regulations and undertakes to comply with them.
Article 2 – Conditions of Stay and Payment
Stay period
Weekly or monthly rentals are available from September 1st to May 15th.
Outside this period, a special agreement may be arranged, and a specific rate may apply.
Length of stay
The rental agreement is concluded for a minimum duration, according to the chosen rate, of one week or one month, with advance payment required.
Contract and registration
All residents must present a valid ID and sign a contract specifying the length of stay, the price, and any specific conditions.
Foreign nationals without legal authorization to stay in France, such as a visa or residence permit, will not be accepted.
Security deposit
A deposit may be required to cover any potential damage or unpaid charges. It will be refunded after the check-out inspection.
Accepted payment methods
Credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, Bitcoin, or cash. Cheques are not accepted.
Article 3 – Payment
The rental fee must be paid in advance for the agreed period (one week for weekly rates, one month for monthly rates).
Late payments may result in penalties or termination of the contract.
No refunds will be given for early departures unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Article 4 – Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: before 11:00 a.m.
Extensions must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and may be refused by management.
Article 5 – Room Access and Keys
Keys or magnetic cards are strictly personal and must not be duplicated or given to unauthorized third parties.
In case of loss, a replacement fee will apply.
Management reserves the right to enter rooms for maintenance, safety, or inspection purposes, after prior notice to the resident, except in emergencies.
Article 6 – Room Usage and Equipment
Rooms come equipped with a bed, basic furniture, and heating.
Heating: depending on occupancy levels, heating may be centralized or provided by electric heaters.
For safety reasons, electric heaters must never be covered.
No modifications to the room (painting, drilling walls, etc.) are permitted. Only moving furniture is allowed, provided it is returned to its original position upon departure.
Rooms do not include a TV. Residents may bring their own television, as well as personal furniture or belongings, within the available space.
Electricity consumption must remain reasonable: cryptocurrency mining and excessive electricity usage are strictly prohibited.
Article 7 – Room Occupancy
The maximum occupancy per room must be respected:
Double room: 2 people
Triple room: 3 people
Visitors are only permitted during the day, with prior notice given to reception.
Article 8 – Cleanliness, Linen, and Sanitary Facilities
Residents are responsible for keeping their accommodation clean during their stay. They must return the premises in the same condition as they were upon arrival.
Common areas must remain clean at all times.
Waste must be sorted and disposed of in the designated areas.
Rooms are cleaned only before arrival.
Vacuum cleaners and cleaning tools are available for use. Cleaning products are not provided but can be purchased at reception.
One set of bed linen per bed is provided upon arrival.
Towels are not provided.
Toilet paper and soap are not included.
Laundry: available at set times in the morning and evening. Price: €6 per load, including detergent and drying.
Toilets and showers are shared in most rooms. Each resident must use them responsibly and leave them clean. For rooms with private bathrooms, residents must leave them in the same condition as upon arrival.
Article 9 – Food and Kitchen Facilities
Breakfast: available at €10 per person.
Meals: set menu for lunch and dinner at €20 per meal.
The establishment does not sell drinks. Residents may store their own drinks in the refrigerators provided. The establishment is not responsible for any items stored in these refrigerators.
A microwave, coffee machine, and electric kettle are available in the designated communal area.
Article 10 – Peace and Quiet
Except on evenings when the halls are rented for festive events, residents must respect the peace and quiet of the premises:
Silence between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
No loud music or disruptive behavior.
Repeated disturbances may result in contract termination.
Article 11 – Common Areas and Events
Common areas may be used for meals and relaxation outside of event times.
When a hall is rented for a seminar or festive event, access will be limited to passageways leading to the rooms.
Event dates will be announced at least 48 hours in advance.
Festive events may cause noise late at night on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holiday eves. No complaints will be accepted for this reason.
Participation in banquets or festive events is prohibited without prior authorization from management and the event organizers.
The use of halls for private events requires prior approval from the establishment and will be subject to separate billing.
Article 12 – Safety and Prohibitions
The following are strictly prohibited:
Smoking inside the buildings (smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas).
Using dangerous or unauthorized electrical appliances (portable heaters, unapproved cooking devices, etc.).
Storing flammable or hazardous materials in the rooms. Candles, open flames, and any device posing a fire risk are strictly forbidden.
Bringing or consuming illegal drugs on the property.
Subletting or transferring the accommodation to third parties.
Cryptocurrency mining or using high-energy consumption devices.
Fire safety instructions displayed on the premises must be followed at all times.
Emergency exits must remain clear.
In case of fire or evacuation, residents must follow staff instructions.
Article 13 – Parking and Transportation
One car per room is allowed in the château courtyard.
Nearest train station: Longueville, located 4.2 km away.
A bus operates in the morning and evening between the station and the village.
Bicycle rentals are available subject to availability: rates and deposits upon request.
Shuttle service to Longueville station: €10 per trip.
Shuttle service to Provins: rates available upon request.
Article 14 – Visitors
Visitors must be registered at reception and are not allowed to stay overnight without written authorization from management.
The resident is responsible for the behavior of their visitors.
Article 15 – Animals
Animals are allowed only under specific conditions and with prior approval.
The owner is responsible for any damage or disturbance caused by the animal.
Article 16 – Internet and Facilities
Internet access is reserved for legal use in compliance with applicable laws.
Any abuse (illegal downloads, piracy, cryptocurrency mining, etc.) will result in service suspension and possible legal action.
Article 17 – Liability
The establishment declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
Personal insurance is recommended for long-term stays.
Article 18 – Termination
Any violation of these regulations may result in the immediate termination of the contract, without refund.
